President Pat White introduced recently appointed Charles D. and Elizabeth S. LaFollette Distinguished Professor of Humanities Dwight Watson, who introduced the afternoon's speaker.
After requesting a moment of silence in remembrance of Dean and Professor Emeritus Vic Powell H55, who died earlier this week, Watson introduced Morillo as an academic warrior who, like a crossbow is accurate and bursting with kinetic energy.
